The World Series continues this weekend with games three and four in Philadelphia. Saturday night’s college football games on ABC and ESPN2 each feature matchups of top 25 teams, and for the Irish fans out there, Notre Dame plays in primetime this week when they host Washington State at 7:30 on NBC. It’s a good thing the primetime games are good, because it’s a bit of a snooze-fest in the afternoon on Saturday.

Talk turns to gaming for part of episode nine of Seen in HD. Recent news that the PS3 will be getting Netflix support and the Xbox won’t be getting Blu-ray support gives Adam and Phil a chance to talk HD gaming and the future of consoles. After two weeks of dead air on Tuesday night, the ESPN family saves us with baseball and football this week. The NHL season kicks off Friday (Vs. 3 p.m. 1080i) when Detroit and St. Louis play the first of two games from Sweden. The WNBA finals start Tuesday on “The Deuce” and Major League Baseball wraps up its last week of the regular season. ESPN will choose games that have playoff implications to air.
