I’m enjoying having a home server. Mine has been running for about a month now and overall the experience has been great. As promised! Have a look below at a quick look at the new Windows Home Server Power Pack 3 beta and the new functionality added to Media Center. I’ve enjoyed toying with the new addins so far and though I did have one hang up, it was an easy fix. Everything is running pretty smoothly now.
Hopefully we’ll continue to see further WHS/MCE integration. The two offerings from MS would work well together on so many levels. With WHS being as young as it is, hopefully it’ll just be a …

It looks as though maybe, just maybe, Microsoft gets it. Or is at least starting to understand that people want to bring the different technologies MS produces together.
Power Pack 3 for Windows Home Server went beta today. I’ve had a chance to install it but not much time to play so you can expect more info and a screencast early next week. The best info so far has been provided by the Windows Home Server Team Blog.
