Dish Network Tuners for Windows Media Center Demoed at CEDIA 2009

EngadgetHD’s BenDrawbaugh brought back some very interesting news from Dish Network’s booth at Cedia 2009. As we talked about in Episode 42 of the Entertainment 2.0 podcast that there were extremely strong rumors that Dish Network had completely axed their Windows Media Center tuner project. In fact, Adam still cries a little every time we mention Dish Network.
Despite the rumors Dish does in fact have a booth at CEDIA this year, and they are showing their Media Center tuners! Unfortunately they are calling it a “proof of concept” at this point. …

Entertainment 2.0-Episode 42: The Angry Show

Back again folks!  Thanks for joining us on this week of not such good news for Media Center enthusiasts.  But, like any good enthusiasts, we take our lumps and keep moving!
