Here are some cool essential accessories for you new HTPC.

Hillcrest Labs Loop Pointer

This is a really cool in air mouse pointer that has a built in left click, right click, and scroll wheel on it. James did a full review of it at RevoHTPC.com. You can find it on Amazon for around $70. You can often find this pointer for cheap as Hillcrest often runs sales. They also have a free HTPC centric browser called Kylo that has some nice feature. James also did a review of the Kylo browser and it’s features over at RevoHTPC. There are a lot of devices out there that also act as an in air mouse so take a look.

Logitech Harmony Remote

If you do not own one of these wonderful universal remotes then you missing out on a remote revolution. Harmony remotes are by far the absolute best universal remotes on the market. They are fully customizable, work with every device under the son, and are activity based. Activity based remote control is simple and intuitive, you just click what you want to do “Watch TV”, “Play DVD”, etc. and then everything turns on and to the correct input. There are a lot of options out there and they range in price from $60 to $300+ and can be found on Amazon.
