Two pretty major releases in the tech world in the last week. On Feb. 29 Microsoft released the consumer preview of its Windows 8 operating system for download, and on March 7, Apple had a much ballyhooed event for its New iPad, Apple TV and iOS 5.1 We dive into both announcements. Also, Wal Mart is thinking of teaming up with UltraViolet for in-store activations and Netflix might be playing nice with cable outlets.

We kick things off with Super Bowl talk. Was the M.I.A. middle finger a big deal? Matt and Phil have differing opinions. We take a peek at some of the ads, and then move into more regular news.
