  • Didi I miss this show being recorded live? There wasn't a tweet.

Either way, great show, always good to have Derek on.

  • Thanks. I always like to pop up every six months or so with these guys just to keep up with what is happening in the real world.

    =D-

  • Heads in Sand?

In a hurry some quick thoughts..

You talk about how the future of Media is streaming but never mentioned that Cable TV is the exact opposite of that, and Media Center's sole purpose is cable TV on your PC. Media Center is part of the Old Media that you guys talk about old media being dead @ Microsoft.

Microsoft has a great echo system now with Zune + 360. The problem is Media Center isn't invited to the party.

You never talk about the fact that Media Centers core function Recording TV is competition to the new Zune marketplace business model.

How do you talk about goodbad echo systems and never bring up apple?

At times the podcast seemed straight from 2008 with HD-DVD vs Bluray and pinning all hopes of a MS ecosystem on a new mobile device.
