I can’t understand the jump to 3D. Many people have just purchase digital TVs (LCDs, Plasmas, etc.) Do we really want to head out and buy another TV just for 3D? I know it’s not something that will happen in my home for a long time. I’d much rather just use my current set and throw on a pair of two-toned glasses. Progress is usually good however, so it’ll be interesting to see if Sonic pushing it to the PC and living room will help the format, and thereby the sale of new sets, take off.
