Ben Drawbaugh from EngadgetHD is on top of HD content and one problem Media Center enthusiats have is getting encrypted HD cable content into our software of choice.  It seems that after finding a work around for the OEM requirement, another TGB user has come up with a method that will allow you to turn any PC running Vista or 7 into a cable card PC.

This is huge news for the Media Center community and if this work keeps up, CableLabs might as well forget about the OEM requirement.  Maybe they should consider it now?
