I’m not a sports guy myself.  At least not watching them on TV.  It just isn’t my thing.  But if you are and you’re a DirecTV subscriber, they’ve added the Score Guide just for you.  EngadgetHD covered this the other day and you can find details on the DirecTV site itself. 

Sports Guide allows you to see the scores of major sporting events and which DirecTV channel they’re appearing on.  Overlaying the screen without taking the the whole thing, the Sports Guide lets you switch to the event you want to see easily.

Though it may seem early, NFL season is just around the corner and I’m sure there’s more than one football fan who’ll enjoy having this available to them when fall comes around.
